PRODUCT ORDERING

Before product or design services can be ordered from PEI, the part must be submitted for a quotation within the previous 60 days. If a company is purchasing additional quantities of an existing product, submitting an order will initiate a review of the last quotation and if it has been over 60 days, a 'Re-quote' will be generated.

PEI accepts only written requests for product or design services; verbal requests are not formally scheduled until the document arrives either by fax, e-mail, or postal mail.

Minimum Order Requirements
PEI is a production shop operation geared to the low-volume customer. With this in mind, our design and prototype services are provided for those projects that are destined for minimum production quantities. As such, we do NOT provide provide design engineering and/or prototype services without a production order.

Furthermore, in order to keep our prices cost effective for our customers, we have established minimum purchase targets. Those minimums are as follows:

Minimum Order Value of $400
Minimum Production Order Quantity of 25 Units/Parts
All D&E Orders MUST Include a Production Quantity at Time of Ordering

Ordering with Purchase Order
If the customer has established credit with PEI and they are in good credit standing, then the PO will be accepted and the order will be entered into our system as of the date that it is received at our office. Please note that all orders are entered into our schedule in the sequence in which they we received. However, for those occasion when delivery is needed sooner than our normal schedule will allow, we offer expediting services whenever possible. Credit Card Purchasing
For customers purchasing product or services with a credit card, we must receive both the credit card information as well as a PO or purchase letter on company letterhead. As for those customers who have established credit with us and are purchasing product or services, we require specific information in order to process the order, regardless of payment method. In particular, the information we require is as follows:

PEI name and CORRECT address
Company Name
Ship To address
Purchasing individuals name
Date of purchase order
Customer's and/or PEI's part number including revision level
PEI Quotation number
Quantity of product to be purchased
Ship date(s) and release quantities
Total amount of PO value

Please note that if the above information is not provided at the time of ordering, then the order will not be entered into our system until we obtain that information. In order to avoid delays, we strongly urge all customers to provide the above information at the initial time of ordering product.

Order Acknowledgment
Once an order is received and all information is verified, we will reply with a written Acknowledgment stating the above information. Please note that we will do everything possible to honor requested ship dates, however, we do not guarantee or warrantee ship dates. PEI CREDIT POLICY

Because all products manufactured by Plastronic Enclosures, Inc., are custom designed and made to order, we find it necessary to establish credit and payment policies that ensure we do not have to pass on higher prices caused by producing enclosures for which we are unable to sell or receive payment. In our attempt to control these types of costs, we have established credit policies that we believe are disciplined yet flexible enough that any size company can do business with us.

All new accounts are placed on a Prepaid status until credit is established with our Credit Department. In order to establish credit:
- A company must provide proof of having been in business for at least 2 years. Companies with less than two years of business history are placed on a Prepaid basis for the first 3 purchase orders (call Customer Service for further details).

An authorized representative from the company must complete our standard credit application and submit it to our credit manager prior to an order being accepted and/or initiated by our engineering or manufacturing group.

In order to establish credit, an authorized representative from the requesting company must complete our standard credit application and submit it before an order will be accepted.
If no credit has been established or if a company does not wish to submit a credit application, then payment must be received prior to commencement of any work.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express for those companies who wish to pay by credit card.
all International Orders (excluding Canada) are Prepaid via check drawn on a US bank, wire transfer, or credit card. Additionally, all currency is in US Dollars $.

For those customers who have established credit with PEI, all Design and Engineering charges will be invoiced at the time that the engineering work begins. Set up charges, prototype parts, and production quantities will be invoiced upon shipment of those items.

Lastly, please note that our standard payment policy for credit accounts is F.O.B. Piscataway, NJ, net 30. Any account that becomes delinquent is subject to being placed on credit hold and all future orders may be subject to CIA status until credit can be reestablished.

We trust this subject will not be a concern for your company and that our business relationship will be mutually satisfying and financially rewarding for both of our organizations.

DIRECTIONS to PEI

From the South - I-95, NJ Turnpike, Rte 1

Take either the New Jersey Turnpike to exit 9 or Route 1 north to Rte 18.
Take Rte 18 North to New Brunswick.
On the north side of New Brunswick, you will cross a river and then come to a traffic light. Go straight through the light at which point the road becomes Mettlars Lane.
Take Mettlars Lane northwest through several lights to the intersection of Suttons Lane.
Turn right/south onto Suttons Lane.
Go about a mile on Suttons Lane, PEI is located on left side of street.

From the North/North East

Take Garden State Parkway or New Jersey Turnpike/I-95 south to Route I-287.
Take I-287 north to Stelton Rd exit.

From the Garden State Parkway South

Take Garden State Parkway north to Route I-287.
Take I-287 north to Stelton Rd exit.

From U.S. Route 22

Take Rte 22 to Washington Ave in the Plainfield, NJ area.
Take Washington Ave south to the intersection of Stelton Rd.
At that intersection, Washington Ave turns right and Stelton Rd. goes straight. Stay straight onto Stelton Rd.

From I-78, I-287 and West

Take I-78 or Route 22 east to I-287
Take I-287 south to Stelton Rd. exit.

From Stelton Rd

Take Stelton Road south about 4 miles until you come to the golf driving range/miniature golf complex on the right. There will be a traffic light at the intersection.
At the traffic light, turn west (right) onto Ethel Road.
Take Ethel Road west until it ends. The cross road is Suttons Lane.
Turn south (left) onto Suttons Lane.
The third building on the left is our facility.

ABOUT PEI

PEI Roots
Plastronic Enclosures, Inc.'s roots go back to 1993 when it's predecessor, Globe Plastics, began operations as the first company to design and manufacture tool-less plastic enclosures in the US. Since that time, continuous process innovations have led the company, now known as Plastronic Enclosures, Inc., to be the leader in supplying low volume, short lead-time, custom plastic enclosures.

For PEI, the year 2000 was more than the start of a new millennium, it was the beginning of new ownership for the company. On January 1, 2000, the previous management of Globe Plastics took ownership of the company by purchasing its assets and changing its name to Plastronic Enclosures, Inc. In addition to those changes, the new owners have:

initiated a major expansion that included moving to a new state-of-the-art facility
brought on line additional equipment which doubled the throughput capacity
installed the latest in 3D Solids Modeling CAD and integrated CAM software
rolled out an expanded e-commerce web site designed to improve customer service and communications, lower project startup time, streamline design initiative, and reduce administrative and related costs.

Digital Design and Manufacturing (DDM) Technology
The heart of PEI's process lies within its ability to move away from the snails-paced world of developing steel and aluminum tools for molding plastic boxes. Instead, the engineers at PEI have expanded on the European tool-less process by introducing American technology into the entire process of developing designs, creating prototypes, and delivering high-quality production parts. This expanded process, which PEI has named Digital Design and Manufacturing (DDM) has allowed the company to offer unique styles that encompass asymmetrical shapes, contours, slopes, radii, and complexity which add character and identity to our customers' enclosures.

To accomplish this feat of design wizardry, PEI utilizes the latest digital and mechanical technology available in such a way that many of our customers can not believe we can accomplish the look, feel, and functionality that our enclosures encompass. At the heart of our process is the utilization of customized CAD software that allows us to not only develop mechanical views, but also assists our designers in calculating angles, bend radii, joint tolerances, and arc degrees such that the finished product fits flawlessly together.

As the first US company to introduce tool-less technology to the design and manufacture of plastic enclosures, PEI has continued to build on its rich history of supplying innovative designs to those companies who demand the highest quality possible.
